Holy Monastery of Kremasta.
Centuries of life upon the rock.
The Holy Monastery of Kremasta welcomes you.
On the slopes of Kavalaras, the history of Crete meets Orthodox monastic life.

Centuries of history.
A living tradition.
Built upon the rocks, as if hanging from the hillside, the Holy Monastery of Kremasta lies near Vryses Merambellou, at an altitude of 397 m and about two kilometres from Neapoli.
Dedicated to the Holy Taxiarchs, it is surrounded by centuries-old trees and spring waters. A place of prayer, hospitality and spiritual life.
